Sarah left the house last weekend on her three month soul-searching journey across Canada. I took a bunch of photos for her blog as she "prepared for launch" (Her packing, picking up supplies, what's in her pack, etc.) She hasn't posted yet as she's just spent the last few days in Montreal, trying to find wi-fi and all that- but it's been super inspiring watching her pack up her whole life and just take off. By the time Sarah comes back, I want to be able to share with her just as many exciting stories as she has to share with me. You can see more ridiculous photos here.

Sarah bought me a violin for my birthday and since then the house is become quite musical. Despite dabbling musically with flute, viola, choir, and guitar over my lifetime- I still don't know how to read sheet music. I play by ear. I've decided to finally learn how to read music. In the meantime, I've taught myself the beginning bits of LotR, Harry Potter, Gundam Wing, and some Final Fantasy bits. Because, you know, that's important.
