I didn’t notice you had gone.
For over a year, Tom & I have shared our home with our friends. Last weekend we helped them move to the big city, closer to their respective jobs. It’s been a strange adjustment. I have lingering feelings like people should be coming home soon, or I’ll do something out of habit- like today I went to make myself an avocado salad and thought I’d just make guac for everyone. I was halfway through stirring the mixture (four avocados worth!) before I realized I was making for one.
